Thanks for joining us.

FT: The result means that Roma remain in second but now move onto 84 points, a point behind leaders Juventus while Chievo remain in 13th on 43 points. The victory is also Roma’s seventh consecutive away victory.

FT: Chievo didn’t create as many chances as they did in the first-half with Cesar heading wide from a free-header following a corner before Inglese grabbed a late consolation.

FT: Roma started the second-half well and El Shaarawy put them ahead with a fine solo finish before Džeko was twice brilliantly denied by Sorrentino, who then denied Manolas with a header following a corner. Salah then made it four before the Egyptian headed a Strootman cross over the bar. Džeko then made it five with a powerful strike from-range.

FT: So Roma come from behind twice to defeat Chievo.

HT: So will Chievo continue to frustrate Roma or will the Giallorossi find the next goal and hold on? Join us again for the second-half.

HT: Chievo will need to replicate their first-half performance but will have to do much better in defence. Their lapses in concentration allowed El Shaarawy and then Salah to twice level the scores. Roma will need to be more clinical in front of goal as they won’t want to rue their missed opportunities. They do have a lot of talent on the bench if their performance fails to improve as they go in search of automatic Champions League qualification.

HT: The visitors also created a number of good chances and deserve a lot of credit, having come from behind twice. First Salah forced Sorrentino into a fine save before Cacciatore headed the ball just wide of his own-goal under-pressure from Džeko, who was in an offside position. El Shaarawy then fired home to level the scores before Salah was brilliantly denied by Sorrentino from close-range. Salah then drew Roma level again when his deflected effort found the back of the net.

HT: In a very evenly contested match, both sides have created a number of good chances. The hosts started well and went close when Radovanović fired an effort just wide from-range before Castro volleyed the Gialloblu ahead. Birsa then fired an effort just wide from-range before he tested Szczęsny with another strike from-range. Inglese then headed the hosts ahead once more following a fine cross from Birsa.

HT: So we’re level at the break, with two goals apiece, with nothing to separate the two sides.
