Thanks for joining us.

FT: The result means that Arsenal progress into their 20th FA Cup Final and will face Chelsea, while Manchester City bow out of the competition.

FT: Arsenal were clinical and created some good chances and went close in Extra-Time with Holding and Welbeck heading off-target from close-range either side of Sánchez’s winner.

FT: Manchester City had a good chance to find a leveller in the second period of Extra-Time but Delph’s effort was brilliantly blocked by substitute Bellerín into the side-netting. The Sky Blues also hit the woodwork twice in normal time and had a legitimate goal disallowed, which has ultimately cost them as they were in the ascendancy.

FT: So Sánchez’s Extra-time winner sends Arsenal through to their 20th Fa Cup Final.

ET HT: So will Arsenal hold onto their lead or will Manchester City find a leveller to take the tie to penalties? Join us again for the second period of Extra-Time.

ET HT: So Arsenal lead through Sánchez’s finish. The Gunners had other chances too. Prior to the goal, Holding headed an effort wide before Welbeck headed wide after Sánchez’s goal. City need to find a goal if they are to keep their hopes alive while Arsenal just need to sit back and defend their lead.

ET: So will we have a deciding goal in the next 30 minutes or will we head to a penalty-shootout? Join us again for the first period of Extra-Time.

ET: Arsenal initially started the second-half brightly and since going behind they responded well with Özil firing an effort just wide before Monreal’s leveller. Welbeck then had a great chance but he fired inches wide when he had support from Ramsey and Sánchez.

ET: Manchester City created a number of good chances and went agonisingly close to a winner. Agüero’s goal looked to have set City on their way but after Arsenal levelled the scores, the Sky Blues struck the woodwork twice through a Touré strike that was brilliantly tipped onto the post by Čech before Fernandinho headed an effort against the bar.

ET: So Monreal’s goal keeps Arsenal’s FA Cup hopes alive.

48′ The delivery is cleared.

47′ Navas concedes a corner.

45′ Manchester City get the second-half underway.

HT: So will it be Manchester City or Arsenal, who strike first? Join us again for the second-half.

HT: Both sides will need to find a goal. They’ve been too cautious in trying not to concede that they haven’t made the most of their chances in the attacking positions, which should change as the match goes on.

HT: Arsenal haven’t created many chances but they did go close when Giroud met an Oxlade-Chamberlain cross with a header but it was straight at Bravo. The Gunners also should have had a penalty when Sánchez was pulled to the ground by Navas but the referee was unmoved again.

HT: Both sides have had the ball in the back of the net but neither have counted. Manchester City have dominated possession and went close when Silva headed an Agüero cross at-goal but Čech made a fine stop to tip it over the bar. Since then the Sky Blues have been restricted to strikes from-range before Agüero fired an effort into the side-netting. City should be in front having a goal wrongly disallowed after the linesman adjudged Sané’s cross to have gone out of play when it hadn’t. In the moments that followed, Sterling fired the ball home. In addition to that, City had a good shout for a penalty when Oxlade-Chamberlain caught Agüero in the area but the referee was unmoved.

HT: So we’re goalless at the break with nothing to separate the two sides.

39′ Sané wins a freekick after a foul from Ramsey.
