FT: The result means that Juventus progress into the Champions League Semi-finals while Barcelona bow out of the competition.

FT: Juventus created a number of good chances themselves and went close to extending their aggregate tally. First Cuadrado fired an effort just wide of the far-post before the Colombian had an effort tipped behind by Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen was then forced to tip Pjanić’s deflected effort over the bar. Khedira then had a good chance to feed Mandžukić following a swift counter-attack, but the German opted to shoot and Ter Stegen made a simple save before Lemina fired an effort just wide via deflection.

FT: Barcelona created a number of good chances but were left frustrated by the Italians, who defended resolutely to prevent the Catalans from coming back into the tie. Firs Messi went close when his deflected effort curled inches wide of the target before he curled a freekick just wide. Messi then spurned a good chance when he volleyed over the bar after Buffon spilled a corner. Roberto then curled an effort just wide before Mascherano failed to latch onto Neymar’s teasing delivery.

HT: So will Barcelona score the next goal to inspire a come back or will Juventus add to their aggregate tally and hold onto their lead? Join us again for the second-half.

HT: Barcelona need to be more clinical in front of goal if they are to claw their way back against a well-disciplined and well-drilled Juventus side. Messi has caused havoc but Suárez has barely been involved and will need to get on the ball if his side are to stand a chance. Neymar has to be careful, he has been fortunate on a few occasions, escaping a booking for dissent before kicking Pjanić in frustration. Juventus know that they just have to defend as they have done and prevent Barcelona from scoring. An away goal will most certainly put them through as it would mean that the hosts would need to score five. Some more clinical finishing from their point of view would give them the advantage. However given what happened against Paris Saint-Germain, anything can happen.

HT: Juventus have done well to frustrate the Catalan side and keep them at bay. The one time they were really on the back-foot Messi fluffed his lines. The visitors have gone close on a few occasions themselves. First Higuaín vollyed just over the bar before Cuadrado’s acrobatic effort cleared the bar. Higuáin then latched onto a Pjanić pass but his volley was tame.

HT: The match has been fairly even with both sides creating a number of good chances. The hosts have been frustrated and haven’t been able to find the first-goal to inspire a comeback. They have been restricted to a number of strikes from-range but none have troubled Buffon. First Alba almost latched onto a cross-field pass from Messi before the Argentine spurned a great chance when he fired inches wide after Alba’s pull-back deflected into his path. Messi was then denied by Buffon, who palmed away the Argentine’s strike before Barcelona’s number 10 fired the loose ball into the side-netting.

HT: So we’re goalless at the break but Juventus still lead 3-0 on aggregate.
