ET FT: The result means that Real Madrid progress into their seventh consecutive Champions League Semi-final as Bayern Munich bow out of the competition.

ET FT: Madrid made good use of the extra-man in Extra-Time as they scored three times in the additional 30 minutes. However the Germans will ultimately feel hard done by, given the numerous big decisions that didn’t go their way, including Vidal’s sending-off and Ronaldo’s two offside goals in Extra-Time.

ET FT: So Real Madrid progress into their seventh consecutive Champions League Semi-final.

90′ Bayern Munich get the first period of Extra-Time underway.

ET: Bayern Munich will do very well if they are to take this game to penalties given their numerical disadvantage. They have done well to restrict Madrid to shots from-range but Madrid will

ET: The hosts created a number of good chances in the second-half with Isco first volleying just wide before Ronaldo’s header gave the Spaniards an initial aggregate lead. Marcelo was then denied by Neuer before Vázquez volleyed an effort into the side-netting.

ET: The visitors had a number of good chances initially with Robben was denied by Marcelo’s goal-line clearance before the Dutchman won a penalty after he made the most of Casemiro’s challenge, which Lewandowski slotted home. Vidal then volleyed just over the bar before Ribéry’s volley was saved well by Navas. That was before Ramos’ ricochet put the Bavarians back in front on the night to level the aggregate scores. The Bavarians were also very harshly reduced to ten men when Vidal received a second yellow card after he was adjudged to have fouled Asensio although he won the ball fairly and cleanly.

ET: So Ramos’ own-goal has given Bayern a life-line seconds after Ronaldo had put the Spaniards ahead on aggregate.

45′ Real Madrid get the second-half underway.

HT: So will Real Madrid extend their aggregate tally and hold onto their lead or will Bayern find the next goal to come back in this tie? Join us again for the second-half.

HT: Real Madrid will need to ensure they score to put the tie to bed and had Madrid been more clinical it may have already been settled. They cannot afford to allow Bayern a way back into the match and will need to be disciplined as well as provide Benzema with good service. The Frenchman has got into some fine positions but has lacked the service and will need to be found alongside Ronaldo if they are to progress into the Semi-finals.

HT: Bayern need to find two goals without reply if they are to go through and they started well and should have taken the lead when Robben fired the ball just wide after Alcántara was denied by a fine block from Marcelo. Vidal then powerfully fired an effort just over the bar. The Bavarians have looked shaky defensively and have been fortunate that Madrid haven’t capitalised. The visitors will know they cannot afford to concede another as it could seal the tie. Lewandowski has got into some promising positions but has lacked the required service. Robben and Ribéry have been a threat on the break and will need to continue to pose a threat on the counter when the two Madrid full-backs go forward.

HT: The Champions have enjoyed a number of chances but are yet to make them count. First Benzema headed just wide before Neuer made a fine save to deny Carvajal. Ramos was then denied by Boateng before Kroos curled an effort just over the bar. Ronaldo was then denied by Neuer when he should have passed to Benzema, before the Portuguese fired wide after good play from Marcelo. Kroos was then denied by a good save from Neuer.

HT: So we’re goalless at the break with Madrid still ahead 2-1 on aggregate.
