Thanks for joining us.

FT: The result means that Roma move back into second, now on 56 points, seven behind leaders Juventus, whilst Torino remain in ninth on 35 points.

FT: The scoreline didn’t reflect the nature of Torino’s performance. They created a number of good chances and went close on a handful of occasions. First Belotti tested Szczęsny from a strike on the turn before López forced the Polish keeper into a fine save at his near-post. López then fired home after a fine pass from Zappacosta before Belotti headed just wide from a Boyé cross.

FT: The damage was already done in the first-half but Roma created a number of chances to add to their tally. First Džeko fired the ball just over the bar before Emerson’s block caused the ball to ricochet onto the roof of Hart’s net. Paredes then drilled home from-range before Fazio tested Hart from a header following a corner. Peres then rattled the bar after Hart parried a Nainggolan strike before Džeko fired the ball just wide after surging forward. Then Nainggolan sealed the victory with a powerful strike.

FT: So Roma thrash Torino to close the gap on Juventus to seven points once more.

45′ Roma get the second-half underway.

HT: So will Roma extend their lead or will Torino come back in this match? Join us again for the second-half.

HT: The hosts will look to extend their tally in the second-half in order to put the game to bed. The visitors will need to provide Belotti with better service. The visitors have got into some promising positions but the final pass has let them down on a few occasions. Some more clinical play in the last-third may be the difference between the two sides.

HT: Despite the goal-margin, the visitors have created some good chances and went close when Benassi first curled the ball over the bar before Belotti fired the ball over the bar albeit from an offside position. Then Lukić fired just wide on the volley before Jesus denied Benassi with a fine challenge as the Torino midfielder looked set to pull the trigger.

HT: The hosts could have been out of sight within the first 20 minutes in truth but they have the two goals and have managed to keep Torino at bay thus-far. The hosts created a number of good chances, first Jesus fired just wide before Džeko’s goal. Then Nainggolan and Džeko tested Hart before Salah doubled the lead. The Egyptian then went agonisingly close when he hit the post.

HT: So Roma have a two-goal cushion at the break.

45′ The referee blows his whistle to bring the first 45 minutes to an end.

44′ Chance!! Falque plays Benassi through on-goal but just as the midfielder is about to pull the trigger, Jesus makes a fine last-ditch-challenge to deny him with the loose ball collected by Szczęsny.

39′ Close!! Roma fail to clear the corner and the ball falls to Lukić outside the area, who volleys the ball just wide of the target.

39′ Zappacosta wins a corner.
