Boleyn Ground, London, England

3-3

18′ Özil

35′ Sánchez

44′ Carroll

45’+2′ Carroll

70′ Koscielny

Thanks for joining us.

FT: The result meant that West Ham remained in sixth but are now on 52 points whilst the Gunners remain in third, now on 59 points, three behind North-London rivals Tottenham and ten behind leaders Leicester.

FT: So will that shatter Arsenal’s title hopes and West Ham’s top-four finish?

FT: Carroll managed to get his hat-trick although it didn’t amount to anything significant in the end as a result of Koscielny’s leveller.

FT: The Gunners are lucky to come away with a point with West Ham dominating the second-half and have Ospina to thank, making some good saves from Payet and Cresswell.

FT: What a game!! So the Hammers have to settle with a point, the linesman’s flag being a huge factor in this game.

HT: So will the Hammers complete the come-back and win the game, or will Arsenal keep their title hopes alive with a victory? Join us again for the second-half.

HT: The Hammers are now level, but it could have been so different had the linesman kept his flag down earlier in the game. Arsenal will furious that they’ve conceded two goals in the last few minutes, lacklustre defending has cost them the lead at the break.

HT: Sánchez then doubled their lead before a fantastic delivery from Cresswell was headed home by Carroll before the latter got his second via a deflection of Paulista.

HT: The hosts were unlucky to be behind after Lanzini’s goal was wrongly chalked off before Özil put the Gunners ahead.

HT: Wow so two late goals from Carroll have put West Ham back in this game when they looked down and out.

45’+2′ The referee blows his whistle to bring the first-half to an end.

45’+2′ Goal!! Payet’s initial delivery is punched by Ospina before Noble’s delivery is met by Carroll whose first effort is blocked before his acrobatic volley deflects off Paulista to put the Hammers level.
