FT: So Cavani proves to be the difference between the two sides, although there was very little between them.

90’+1′ Pedro controls a cross-field pass on the chest before firing an effort that ripples the side-netting.

87′ Pedro tries to play Oscar, through but it’s slightly overhit and PSG eventually deal with it.


83′ Marquinhos is found wonderfully by Pastore the substitute, his shot is scuffed and Cahill clears for the corner.


80′ Double substitution as Veratti departs for Adrien Rabiot and Matuidi departs for Javier Pastore.


79′ Chelsea have been made to pay for their missed opportunities.


78′ Goal: Super substitute Cavani comes on to put the French side ahead. Di María finds the Uruguayan, who stays onside to slot through the legs of Courtois from a tight-angle, although the Belgian didn’t cover himself in glory.

76′ Oscar is almost in, he just can’t make contact with a bouncing ball and Trapp comes out to smother the shot.


75′ Chelsea enjoy a nice spell of possession before Mikel gives the ball away but the French side lose the ball and Cavani fouls Pedro.


73′ Edison Cavani comes on for Lucas for the Parisians.


72′ Ibrahimović tries a chip towards Di María, but Courtois reads it and gathers with ease.


71′ The resulting set-piece comes to nothing as Chelsea are caught offside.


70′ Chelsea change sees Hazard depart for Oscar.


69′ Lucas receives a yellow card for cynically pulling back Rahman. Luiz also receives yellow for bringing Costa down in the build-up.

63′ What a block!! Matuidi looks to fire the French side in front in similar fashion to Mikel’s equaliser. Ivanović manages to get his body in the way to prevent a certain goal.


60′ Lucas finds space after playing a nice one-two with Ibrahimović, the former then forces Courtois into a good save.


58′ The corner is cleared temporarily then Lucas finds Di María who volleys harmlessly off-target.


57′ Maxwell gets forward and almost gets the cross in but Courtois smothers him and the ball to concede the corner.


56′ PSG win a corner. Its comes to nothing after Marquinhos fouls Fábregas.


55′ Di María slips Maxwell through, but his low cross is blocked well by Cahill, and Ivanović clears.


52′ Ibrahimović shoots a deflected effort that Courtois palms behind. The resulting corner comes to nothing.


51′ Chelsea break with Willian. His pass makes its way to Costa, but his deflected effort is straightforward for Trapp.


50′ Marquinhos gets past Rahman, sends in a good cross that  Ivanović clears. Then Di María fires a dipping effort that Courtois tips over. The corner comes to nothing.


48′ Chelsea look to hit PSG on the break with Willian finding Costa, but Trapp comes out to smother the striker’s effort.


46′ Collision between Hazard and Veratti, both rose with arms flailing.

HT: Good second half to look forward to.


HT: So despite PSG dominating the game, the visitors created the better chances. The home side scored very much against the run of the play, but the visitors managed to get a deserved equaliser.


45’+1′ It’s the last kick of the game, as both teams depart down the tunnel following the referee’s whistle.


45’+1′ It’s the Nigerian’s sixth goal for the Blues.


45’+1′ Goal: Of all the people, it’s the same man who gave away the freekick which led to PSG’s goal, that’s right: John Obi Mikel!! Willian takes the corner, it’s flicked on by Costa and falls invitingly to the Nigerian who controls before firing in on the half-volley.

44′ Willian finds Fábregas, his cross is blocked and he wins a corner.


44′ Willian’s corner doesn’t beat the first man.


43′ Willian takes and it’s deflected off the wall for a corner.


42′ Willian wins a freekick in a good position. We all know what he can do from set-pieces.


40′ Huge slice of luck in the goal but the French side won’t mind. That’s the Swede’s first goal against Chelsea.


39′ Goal: The Swedish international takes and it takes a wicked deflection off Mikel to wrong-foot Courtois and give the Parisians the lead.

37′ Mikel goes into the book, he cynically clips the heels of Lucas, although there was minimal contact. Twenty-one yards out.


36′ Di María wins a corner. However it comes to nothing as Courtois claims with ease.


35′ Chelsea try to break with Hazard, his effort is blocked, and then the hosts go down the other end with Di María, the Argentine surges forward before shooting wide.


32′ Chance!! Ibrahimović meets a cross from the right, but he heads it into the ground before it bounces over the bar.


31′ Now Hazard wins a freekick. It’s worked short, and it falls to Ivanović whose first effort is blocked, before the Serbian fires wide from a tight-angle, Cahill was in a better position.


30′ Veratti brings Fàbregas down in a promising position. The ball in is dealt with.


28′ Lucas tries to go direct and Pedro cuts it out, he looks for Costa who nods it on, but his pass is intercepted and Luiz plays it back to Trapp.

22′ What a save!! Rahman’s cross in is met by Costa, whose played onside by Luiz, but Trapp tips it onto the bar. Saying that the Brazilian-born striker, should have buried the opportunity.


21′ Chelsea enjoy some nice possession on the ball.


18′ Ibrahimović receives a yellow card for a late challenge on Mikel, deserved one too his studs went straight down the back of the Nigerian’s heel.


16′ Lucas is almost away but Azpilicueta does enough to win the goalkick.


15′ Chelsea get forward with Pedro, but his cross is cleared by Luiz.


14′ Former Blues defender Luiz tries to find Di María, but the pass is just overhit.


12′ Chelsea yet to properly get going in this match so far. Maxwell gets forward and plays a dangerous ball towards Di María but it’s just too close to Courtois.


11′ Ibrahimović takes the resulting freekick but it’s just wide.


10′ Ibrahimović wins a freekick in a good position after Willian brings him down 25 yards out from goal.


8′ Costa tries to get past Silva but the Brazil international challenges him fairly, despite the Spanish international’s protests.


7′ Ibrahimović nods the ball down to Lucas, who fires an effort that is charged down.


6′ Di María blocks a Chelsea clearance to hand Courtois a goalkick.


5′ Chelsea’s first real spell on the ball ends with Rahman’s pass for Costa being overhit.


5′ Lucas comes forward again and fires an effort just wide of the post.


4′ An Ivanović clearance is charged down by Veratti.
